And this book is full of just, debunked non-scientific views:

That's... that's not a thing that happens. The "brains mature at 24" myth stems from a study that only followed people until approximately that age, and noted changes the entire time. If the study had kept going, it might have discovered that brains never "fully mature".
And the "research" section is just "I did a poll, and I wish someone would do research."
